RISE and shine

What’s up, my Baltimore entrepreneur and small business friends?! I wanted to make sure you all knew about Comcast RISE — well, the return of it.

According to the Comcast's website, RISE stands for "Representation, Investment, Strength and Empowerment." Comcast RISE was created in 2020 to help small businesses hardest hit by COVID-19 recover and thrive.

With a focus on uplifting communities, Comcast RISE will be awarding grants to 500 recipients across five cities this year. Baltimore entrepreneurs have the opportunity to access a comprehensive grant package that includes business consultation services, educational resources, a monetary grant, creative production assistance, a tailored media schedule and a technology makeover. From June 1-30, eligible small businesses in Baltimore can apply for this program and I just thought y’all should know.

Check it out here.
