Good morning!
Hope your week is off to a decent start. I also hope you don’t mind, but I’m going to use this space today to tease something that aligns with all of our interests.
It’s been a real whirlwind of a year in so many ways, but there’s been a lot of remarkable work produced within our industry. It’s why I’m looking forward to Adweek’s annual Hot List, where we award standout journalism, innovative business practices and inclusive working environments in Tech, Digital and TV.
We’ve tweaked the list to fit the times, like adding Hottest Pandemic Pivot to each category—think how you’ve sustained/grown business online or improved customer experience.
If you think your company would qualify to win an award in any number of our categories in those verticals, from the Hottest Magazine of the Year to Hottest Feud in TV, please consider dropping us a line.
You can read all about the rules for nomination here. We especially love visuals and numbers to illustrate your growth, like traffic and revenue figures. You have this week and next to send us your materials; the deadline to get everything in is Sept. 4.
What Else We're Covering:
Fun Fact: The 10 largest stadiums in the U.S. can hold well over one million people. Here’s how Covid-19 might affect what stadiums’ naming rights are worth.
I'm off this week, but you can send any tips or news items to my colleague Scott Nover (scott.nover@adweek.com). Otherwise, I'll see you here Monday.
