Friday 1 October 2021 Mayor's MessageLocal residents will be pleased to know that work on renewing the footbridge and boardwalk at Studmaster Park in Wanneroo will start in the next couple of weeks. The modernised structure will significantly reduce ongoing maintenance costs and include accessible seating, allowing residents of all abilities to visit and enjoy views of Yellagonga Regional Park. This is one of more than 40 projects that the City of Wanneroo is fast-tracking over the coming months, following an injection of more than $8.7 million in funding from the Federal Government through phase one and two of the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (LRCIP). From new exercise equipment at Dalvik Park in Merriwa to a new playground, picnic facilities and shade sails at Wonambi Park in Wanneroo, the projects are all tipped for completion by the end of the year.
