High Associates Ltd. and the Power Packs® Project partnered together with remote technology in order
to create a more convenient location for their
food distribution

On Thursday, March 19th, Gov. Wolf issued an order that all “non-life sustaining businesses” in the state must shut down to slow the spread of COVID-19. Per that guidance, all real estate sales and leasing businesses had been ordered to close their physical locations until further notice.

High Associates Ltd.’s staff immediately began working remotely. Ruth Devenney, CCIM, SIOR, Associate Broker of High Associates Ltd. was pleased to represent the Landlord by stating,“With the help of virtual technology during these challenging times, High Associates
Ltd. 
assisted Power Packs® in securing a new facility in Greenfield to help meet the growing
nutritional requirements for families and children in need within the Lancaster community.”

Power Packs® Project is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that aims to improve the mental and physical health of children by helping their parents provide nutritious meals over weekends when school breakfast and lunch programs are unavailable to them.

Power Packs® Project Board President, Craig Rodenberger had this to say about his experience, “We’re very excited about this move. This location will not only better position us to continue our growth in Central PA, but this centralized location near Route 30 will prove to be more convenient for our volunteers who assist us with food distribution. We appreciate that we were able to work with High Associates on the pricing, proposal, lease negotiations and lease signing via remote technology in order to continue moving forward during the COVID-19 outbreak while keeping everyone safe.”
