COVID-19 boosters authorized for 12- to 15-year-olds

The FDA amended its emergency use authorization for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to expand the use of a single booster dose to 12- to 15-year-olds. The FDA also shortened the time needed before receiving a booster from at least six months after completing the initial series to at least five months.
