U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command is looking to go big with a new autonomy effort, moving from solely focusing on using MQ-9 Reapers as host to its C-130 variants.
The U.S. Air Force and Special Operations Command (SOCOM) have named the OA-1K light attack aircraft the Skyraider II, a continuation of the service’s tail dragging heritage.
The startup is promoting three military uses for its short-takeoff-and-landing aircraft: tactical transportation, special ops and temporary command post.
