ATLANTA: The Georgia World Congress Center has put the final touches on a $55 million expansion, which broke ground in 2018, adding 100,000 square feet of exhibition space. The Exhibit Hall BC project brought the total space available at the downtown venue to more than 1.4 million square feet.

CHARLOTTE: The Charlotte Convention Center is undergoing a $126 million expansion, expected to be completed in summer 2021. The overhaul will include 24,000 square feet of pre-function space, 26,000 square feet of breakout space across 15 meeting rooms, a pedestrian bridge linking the new wing of the convention center to the Westin Charlotte hotel, and more.

LOS ANGELES:Coldplay's Chris Martin will headline the inaugural Lovr Benefit, taking place March 21 at the Hollywood Palladium. The event will raise money for the Noah Benardout Foundation, which advocates to end D.U.I. fatalities through music and education.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: The Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center is set to break ground on a $1 billion expansion this week, adding 350,000 square feet of exhibition space; a new 65,000-square-foot ballroom; and a new 800-room Omni hotel boasting 73,000 square feet of meeting space, outdoor event space, and more.

PHOENIX: Marriott Phoenix Airport unveiled its multimillion-dollar revamp, which features reimagined guest rooms, restaurants, meeting spaces, and a lobby—all outfitted in desert tones and geometric patterns. Each of the property's 15 event and meeting spaces have been upgraded as well with modern amenities, updated sound and lighting systems, as well as a newly automated digital signage system featuring the "events of the day."
