The Eckhart Tolle Foundation - Executive Director The Eckhart Tolle Foundation is hiring an Executive Director who is responsible for strategic growth, program implementation, and administration of the Foundation. In addition, this role will be in charge of fundraising, community outreach, and managing, tracking, and coordinating all key Foundation communications with its existing and potential donors, as well as Foundation partners. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to grow a small foundation with a big mission that is dedicated to accelerating the awakening of human consciousness to create a more peaceful and harmonious world. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Eckhart Tolle’s teachings and their potential impact in the world, will have nonprofit leadership experience, and be willing to serve with an entrepreneurial spirit in multiple capacities. Responsibilities Include: Program Development and Coordination: Set and meet annual goals and priorities for programming, fundraising events, strategic partnerships, and donation/visibility campaigns Coordinate, lead, and track key partnership, sponsorship, and fundraising programs for the Foundation Lead efforts to define, develop, optimize, document, and implement project workflow, processes, and SOPs, making adjustments as requirements change Managing project scope, timelines, and budgets, including change requests Identifying and resolving project risks and issues, offering viable solutions and opportunities where relevant Working with the Eckhart Tolle Foundation Board of Directors: Preparing and hosting meetings with the Foundation Board of Directors Keeping the Board of Directors informed of significant developments Donor/Partner/Sponsor Management and Communications: Develop, implement, and evaluate ongoing donor communication plans for existing and prospective donors, strategic partners, and key sponsorships Coordinate program-specific updates to Foundation supporters and prospective donors/partners for key annual programs Coordinate website maintenance to ensure new and consistent information, links, resources, and updates are posted regularly Create and manage social media and email campaigns Manage ongoing donor/partner inquiries and communications Maintain donor/partner database Digital Curriculum Creation: Take the creative lead in creating, managing, and distributing curated digital curricula for the communities that the Foundation serves Donation and Scholarship Inquiries & Oversight: Evaluate and respond to all donation and partnership inquiries via website and through direct contact/outreach Foundation Reporting and Financials: Prepare and present programming, donor, and financial updates to the Board of Directors Develop and distribute the annual Eckhart Tolle Foundation report Ensure operating budgets are created and adhered to Coordinate with accountant and bookkeeper to ensure fiduciary responsibilities are met Qualifications: 10 years demonstrated communications and program management experience in nonprofit preferred Highly collaborative style; experience developing and implementing programming and communications strategies Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills A strong track record as a creative implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key programs/initiatives concurrently Relationship builder with flexibility and finesse High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, board members, volunteers, donors, program participants, and other supporters Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives Experience with managing projects for eLearning or curriculum-based programs Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking Strong working knowledge of Google Business Suite A deep personal understanding of Eckhart Tolle’s teachings and commitment to personal spiritual growth This is a work-from-home position.
