After finishing second and third of stages in his first participation to the Tour de France, Marc Hirschi, 22, became the first Swiss rider to win a stage since his mentor Fabian Cancellara as he soloed to victory 30km before the end of stage 12 in the small town of Sarran in the Corrèze department. The 2018 u23 world champion took his first pro win in his first Grand Tour. Pierre Rolland and Soren Kragh Andersen rounded out the podium. Primoz Roglic retained the yellow jersey. | |
