  The House gave final approval Wednesday to the first major overhaul of the nation's tax laws since 1986, sending the bill to the White House for President Trump's signature. Republicans celebrated the bill as providing major cuts in corporate and individual income tax rates that will stimulate the economy. Democrats decried it as putting billions in the bank accounts of wealthy corporations and individuals while mostly ignoring the middle class. The bill is the first major legislative win for Trump, who has struggled to implement his agenda in Congress.
