Celebrate London Mural Festival with The Stage, Shoreditch

London is looking more colourful than ever at the moment. That's because the capital's biggest celebration of street art is back, with over 100 incredible murals to explore and a ton of arty activities to go with them. There are things to see and do all over the city, including at The Stage, a landmark development in the heart of Shoreditch.

The Stage has partnered with London Mural Festival to transform a concrete lift shaft into a stunning permanent piece of public art. 'Together We Rise' is the work of London-based artist Sophie Mess, who is known for her delicate interpretations of nature, juxtaposed with gritty city backdrops. This botanical mural, radiating vibrancy and dynamism, is no exception! Look out for it next time you're in Shoreditch — and get a proper look at The Stage while you're at it. Your visit is also an excellent excuse to indulge in some lovely Japanese cuisine at Sushi Revolution...

You can also take in 'Together We Rise' as part of an expert-led guided walking tour on 21 or 28 September. Here you'll explore various mural sites, while discovering the origins and evolution of London's street art scene. If that inspires you to get creative yourself, be sure to snap up a ticket to Sophie's flower stencil art workshop on 29 September, in which you'll create your very own botanical work of art to take home.
