| Over 3.3 million digital applications were submitted across our online services between April 2019 and August 2024, according to the latest data available about civil, family and tribunals reformed services. This is an increase of at least 1 million digital applications since the last data publication in December 2023 and reflects a trend towards an increased use of digital services. We offer a free digital support service to support those who are unable, or struggle, to get online. For the first time weâve published support service data which shows weâve provided nearly 11,000 people with digital assistance when completing online applications since the service began in June 2022. Not only are reformed services making a difference directly to those who use them, theyâre now giving us the quality insights we need to support evidence-based decisions around further improving services. |

Our team at the Royal Courts of Justice (RCJ) recently welcomed over 5,000 people to see inside the historic building. Visitors had the chance to learn more about the justice system, try on judicial robes, take part in mock trials, tour the prison cells and vans - much more besides. |

| Weâve also published a further dataset about performance in our criminal courts in relation to the recent civil unrest. This release gives information on the number of defendants listed for a first hearing and the outcomes at that hearing. You can also read a Ministry of Justice press notice that provides further information about these cases. |

| Litigants in person using the Online Civil Money Claims (OCMC) system can now access digital features which were previously only available to legal professionals. As of Tuesday 8 October 2024 litigants in person will digitally be able to; - issue and respond to a claim up to the value of £25k (the previous limit was £10k)
- request default judgment or indicate the case has been paid
- receive a standard Fast or Small claims directions order
- engage with an improved interactive dashboard
- issue claims in Welsh (the ability to respond in Welsh is already available)
Any cases issued before 8 October 2024 will continue through the existing journey. Â |

| When sending documents for contested financial remedy applications, please remember to follow the naming convention that has been designed with judges to ensure your documents can be easily identified. - Document Type - Name of related person - Role of related person
- For example - Questionnaire-Jane Smith-Applicant-Date of hearing.

| When submitting documents in support of contested financial remedy applications please remember the following guidelines to help you direct your document to the appropriate place: - Correspondence should be emailed to the Financial Remedy Courts/hearing court details
- For draft orders for approval post hearing, select âupload draft orderâ this will then be referred to judiciary for approval
- For interim/general applications/requests to adjourn, select âgeneral applicationâ this then enables staff to review applications made, take a fee and refer to judiciary
- For final consent orders to finalise proceedings select âconsent applicationâ and follow the prompts
- For bundles select âmanage hearing bundleâ this will ensure the judge can access it easily.
