Pre-recorded evidence Pre-recorded evidence report on victims experience of court A report released last week by the Ministry of Justice provides findings from a process evaluation of the implementation of pre-recorded evidence for intimidated witnesses, including survivors of rape and modern slavery. Through the measure, it's intended that the recording can be presented during the trial without the witness needing to attend and experience fear or distress about testifying. |

Damages and Online Civil Money Claims cases Upgrades to digital screens Weâre upgrading the digital screens used by legal professionals and judges, or legal advisers, in Damages and Online Civil Money Claims cases. From 22 April 2023, users of MyHMCTS and Judicial Case Manager will see changes to the way they input information on certain screens. These changes will support the ListAssist system to automatically list cases. |
