Saturday Holiday Mercado & Open Mic

Dear CHAC Community,

Join CHAC Gallery on Dec. 10th for our Holiday Mercado and Open-Mic on Dec. 10^th from 12 noon – 4 PM. This Mercado will feature CHAC and local artists and is a great place to support local artists and local businesses with your holiday shopping. CHAC artists’ holiday merchandise (such as purses, ornaments, candles, painted rocks, religious art and more) reflects the unique and inspiring style of each artist. This Mercado is very important to CHAC as it allows us to help local artists’ businesses thrive during the holiday season and support Colorado’s local economy.

Have some poetry you want to share? We have an open mic during the Mercado hosted by master poet Elena Townsend that is open to the public. Seasoned, emerging and newly awakened poets are all welcome.

CHAC Membership

CHAC Gallery & Cultural Center was founded in 1978 by a group of visual and performing artists. The organization was established as a place where Chicano/Latino artists were provided with a venue to explore visual and performance art and promote and preserve the Chicano/Latino culture through the expression of the arts.

CHAC is an inclusive community of creatives that are dedicated to preserving, showcasing, educating and reflecting the essence of Chicano/a/x, Latino/a/x and other multicultural/multiracial communities.
