Help your child sleep while traveling

Traveling is a big part of the holidays for many families, but can wreak havoc on sleep schedules.

Here are some tips to help your child sleep while traveling:

Schedule travel during a nap or bedtime | Add 10 or 15 minutes to your child's wind-down routine | Bring your child's favorite toy and sheets from their crib | Naps in the car or stroller are fine

If all else fails, help your child to sleep however you can — you won't enjoy your trip while sleep-deprived. Just return to good habits as soon as you get back home, allowing for a day or two to adjust if there's been a time change.
