A Message From the Editor

Holland & Knight faces an uncertain future in Philadelphia after it lost 20 attorneys who are now set to launch a beachhead in the city for the Missouri-founded, Polsinelli. According to observers, the big lateral acquisition was hard fought on both sides, but Holland & Knight has signaled its intentions to stay in Philadelphia. Our first two items today offer details about the departures and what comes next for the Florida-based Holland & Knight, which had launched in the city some six years ago with a group of Reed Smith lawyers.
