Join Rhonda Collins, DNP, RN, FAAN, Chief Nursing Officer of Vocera, as she facilitates a discussion with Sean Spina, RPh, BSc(Pharm), ACPR, PharmD, FCSHP, Director of Special Projects at Royal Jubilee Hospital about one of the first-of-its-kind HaH program in Canada. Dr. Spina and the Island Health team launched the program at Victoria General Hospital and Royal Jubilee Hospital in British Columbia, enabling patients to receive safe and effective care virtually and in their homes from a multidisciplinary team of providers. The successful program was guided by patient oriented research that included a robust public engagement process and an investment in specific tools, technologies, and resources that patients, families sand clinicians insisted were needed to make the program successful and sustainable.
