Mythical mutt: Unicorn found in a pound

Rescuing a dog is one of the best things you can do if you care about animal welfare. Youâre saving the life of an innocent creature, and bringing yourself the joy of owning a pet to boot! But special needs animals sometimes have trouble finding homes, which is why no-kill shelters like Macâs Mission in Jackson, Mont. exist. One puppy in their possession is more than a little unique. Nicknamed Narwahl, the puppy has what appears to be a tail growing right out of the center of his forehead. In spite of this, the shelter has been flooded with adoption requests from social media â all fawning over how cute he is. But the shelter wants to keep an eye on Narwahl for just a bit longer to make sure his âhornâ doesnât get too big. Weâre glad heâll find a forever home soon.
