We would like to share some exciting news with you that has caused a lot of excitement over the last few months.

The next Official Host Country for ITB Berlin 2025, which will take place from 4 - 6 March 2025, has been announced. Drum roll, please... It's Albania!

Albania impresses with its vibrant capital Tirana, long Adriatic beaches and unspoiled landscape.

"The host country Albania will certainly enrich ITB Berlin 2025 enormously and win over numerous new enthusiasts for the country", explained ITB Berlin Director Deborah Rothe.

We are very excited about this partnership and can't wait to show you more of what Albania has to offer.

NEW HALL PLAN AVAILABLE FOR YOU

ALL NEWS AT A GLANCE

You can now find the official hall plan for ITB Berlin 2024 on our website. The demand from exhibitors remains high, so we are opening five additional halls. This is accompanied by some changes to the hall plan This is new at the ITB Berlin 2024 exhibition grounds:

• The Arab countries including our host country Oman are expanding in halls 2.2 and 4.2, while North Africa is moving to hall 6.2.
• The Medical & Health Tourism segment will be present in hall 3.1.
• In hall 8.2 we are planning exhibitors from the BeNeLux countries as well as the popular segments of cultural tourism, business and MICE.
• Additional tourism companies from the hospitality and travel technology sectors will be exhibiting in hall 10.1.
• Hall 10.2 will be dominated by Central Asian countries, while European exhibitors will be presenting in hall 11.2.
• Exhibitors from Scandinavia and Great Britain are moving back to hall 18.
• Many African countries are increasing their presence and will be exhibiting in hall 20 in addition to hall 21.
• In hub27, the focus will be on the DACH region.
• The ITB Buyers Circle Lounge will be located in the North Entrance of the Palais am Funkturm for the first time.

MORE INTERNATIONAL THAN EVER WITH A 42% INCREASE IN VISITORS

ITB Asia showcased three days of business opportunities, knowledge transfer and networking with the co-located trade shows - MICE Show Asia and Travel Tech Asia. With over 1,800 international exhibitors, more than 1,300 top global buyers and over 160 speakers, the Asian offshoot of ITB was once again a hotspot for the travel industry in Asia and recorded a remarkable 42% growth compared to 2022.

We are looking forward to next year: ITB Asia will take place from 23 - 25 October 2024. Save the date!

The Gender Equality Award by Equality in Tourism will once again be presented at the world's leading travel trade show in 2024. Applications are now being accepted. The organization is a non-profit institution that promotes gender equality in the tourism and hospitality industry. Last March, the title of Gender Equality Champion was awarded to the travel operator Travel Excellence. Apply here
