House Democrats just passed the Build Back Better Act, a massive step forward to invest in Oregonians and Americans, and to rebuild our economy so it works for everyone â not just those at the top.
What will the Build Back Better Act do?
- Provide universal pre-K for every 3- and 4-year-old in America
- Cut taxes for working families and the middle class â including extending the Child Tax Credit that is already helping tens of millions of American families
- Significantly lower prescription drug costs
- Make the largest investment in American history to fight the climate crisis
- And so much more!
Not a single House Republican voted for the Build Back Better Act.
The bill now moves to the Senate, where our Oregon Senators â Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley â will fight to finish the job and get the Build Back Better Act to President Biden's desk.
None of this would be possible without the support of Democrats like you who helped send Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the White House, give Democrats majorities in both the House and the Senate, and elect Oregon Democrats up and down the ballot.
