When Janine and Chris found a 1950s cottage on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, it was exactly what they were looking for: old and riddled with problems. The plan was to knockdown the existing dwelling and, in its place, create their mid-century-inspired dream home with strong principles of flow and proportion.
