Even so, Tate was stunned when he crunched the numbers recently to estimate how much more it costs to buy a house in the New Orleans area today compared to a year ago.
JET SET: New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell is planning to fly to Argentina to attend a climate summit in Buenos Aires, her second overseas trip this month and fourth since June. The Buenos Aires journey, for the C40 World Mayors Summit, is likely to spark criticism from detractors and the campaign to recall her from office.
