Southern California housing's upswing continues with 10 consecutive weeks of rising pending sales.

CLICK HERE to read our analysis of market conditions in Los Angeles-Orange County and the Inland Empire, taken from Zillow data as of June 27. Some highlights:

• Local house hunters opened 3% more escrows vs. the previous week while new pending sales were up 1% statewide but down 2% nationally.

• SoCal owners put 1% fewer residences on the market in the week with new inventory down 3% in California and down 5% across the U.S.
