The New Learning Partnerships

A Case Study in Boosting Student Engagement

Professors at Morehouse College grappled with a classic question: How can we keep students engaged and invested in their learning? The challenge is common, but the college’s approach was unconventional. A handful of faculty members worked with a tech company to experiment with teaching classes in virtual reality. Early results show promise. Attendance and grades have improved, and more courses have started using the same approach.

Morehouse’s VR experiment is just one example of how more institutions are teaming up with outside partners to provide academic-related services.

The New Learning Partnerships explores how colleges can use these collaborations to advance institutional goals. The report includes expert insights and survey data, and unpacks how your college can reap the benefits of learning partnerships while sidestepping the risks.
