Utah's Will Swenson, who you might know from Latter-day Saint-themed movies like “The Singles Ward” and “The R.M,” is currently playing the role of Neil Diamond in a Broadway-bound show.

“A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical” explores Diamond’s rise to stardom, and Swenson — a lifelong fan of the singer — is enjoying every minute of performing.

He even performed while Diamond was in the audience, as my colleague Lottie Elizabeth Johnson wrote. “It was the most crazy, crazy experience of my life,” Swenson said.

How a Utah man took his addictive personality and focused it in the right direction

Jefferson Rogers went from an alcoholic to a workaholic.

In a little more than four years, Jefferson has gone from working sporadically as a salesman for someone else, a $1,000-a-month alcohol habit and a bank account balance of zero to the proud owner of JKR Windows, Utah’s largest window replacement business.

How did he do it? “I took all of that energy and those addictive traits that gave so much attention to drugs and alcohol, and I refocused them on building a business," he said.

Besides his window company, he has a podcast and mentoring website called “All In” and no less than 65,000 followers on Instagram.

Planned Parenthood sues to block Utah’s ‘trigger law’ abortion ban

Planned Parenthood Association of Utah filed a lawsuit on Saturday to stop the Utah law that bans abortions with few exceptions.

The lawsuit claims that the trigger ban, SB174, is harmful to women and will cause Utahns to “lose the right to determine the composition of their families and whether and when to become parents."

Planned Parenthood also stated its intention to request a temporary restraining order against the Utah law that bans abortion at any point in pregnancy.
