NATIONAL: The annual “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” show put on by MRC Live & Alternative and ABC will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Dec. 31. Airing live on ABC, the celebration will feature the event's first-ever Spanish language countdown, with Puerto Rico as the inaugural host destination.

Pop-Up Magazine, a multimedia storytelling experience presented as a live magazine, has announced that its fall tour will bring shows to Oakland, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C. from Nov. 12-18. Contributors to the fall 2021 issue include Cord Jefferson, Ingrid Rojas Contreras, Jon Mooallem and Ian Urbina.

JACKSON, NJ: Teen Cancer America (TCA), a national nonprofit based in Los Angeles, will host its inaugural Golf Outing at Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson, N.J., on Oct. 18. The event includes lunch, a practice session, a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start, cocktails, dinner
and music.

PHOENIX/SCOTTSDALE: The ADERO Scottsdale hotel has appointed Stacey Kokosinski to director of sales and marketing for the region's only Dark Sky Zone resort. Kokosinski brings over 25 years of experience to help her in her new position, where she’ll oversee all aspects of sales and marketing strategies and revenue management at the 177-room property.

WASHINGTON, DC: Events DC and No Kings Collective are hosting the first annual Asian-inspired street festival featuring dozens of D.C.-area vendors. The REDEYE Night Market will open on Nov. 6 and occupy four blocks of Pennsylvania Avenue from Third through Seventh Streets. Attendees can enjoy cultural and musical performances, plus free admission with food and beverages available for purchase.
