Letter from the Editor
 Just as we are closing in on the 100 million vaccinated mark for US citizens, there seems to be a spring surge in the cases.
Living in Florida during Spring Break season gives me a unique view of how people from all over the country will not do the bare minimum to protect themselves and others from COVID-19 spread.
Hopefully in a couple more weeks vacation time will be over and counts far down.
This increase in positive cases can spell disaster for patients, as new data from the National Spanish Cancer group indicates that people infected with certain viruses can develop type 1 diabetes at an alarming rate.
