For example, scripted dramas and comedies will enter the Television Academy-administered awards, regardless of air time, while multi-camera, weekday daily serials will join what was previously the daytime awards. The ceremonies will remain separate.

CHICAGO:Chef José Andrés and Gibsons Restaurant Group have opened two new culinary concepts in the Bank of America Tower. Bazaar Meat offers theatrical interpretations of meat and vegetables, and Bar Mar does the same for seafood and creative cocktails. Bazaar Meat has a main dining room, a 10-seat bar and an eight-seat meat bar, while Bar Mar has 200 seats and 40-foot floor-to-ceiling windows.
MONTCLAIR, NJ:Experiential B2B agency Strat House has appointed Lauren Elchoness as its new senior vice president overseeing client services and production for domestic and international live and virtual events. Elchoness most recently worked for Viacom, where she served as senior vice president of Nickelodeon Experiences.
SAN DIEGO:Show Imaging, an experience producer for national and international live events, has acquired Pro Systems AV, a San Diego-based company that specializes in concerts and festivals. Pro Systems will operate as a self-contained division that retains its existing name. Company president Brad Donaldson will now take on the additional role of vice president of concerts and touring for Show Imaging.
