LOS ANGELES: The Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show will return for its 49th annual event at the Ventura County Fairgrounds from Oct. 1-3. The festival is open to guests of all ages and there will be more than 24,000 handmade creations to choose from, as well as specialty foods, exhibits for kids, strolling performers and opportunities to give back to the community. Tickets are good for the entire weekend, and anyone who brings non-perishable items will receive $2 off their ticket price. 

NEW ORLEANS: The New Orleans Jazz Fest has been canceled this year due to rising COVID-19 concerns in Louisiana. The event, which had planned to feature performers like The Rolling Stones, Lizzo and Foo Fighters, had been scheduled for Oct. 8-17. All tickets will be refunded, and organizers are planning the next festival for April 29 to May 8, 2022.

NEW YORK: Fleuriste St. Germain, a pop-up experience from St-Germain elderflower liqueur along with American Ballet Theater principal dancer James Whiteside and fashion designer Laura Kim, will open in New York from Aug. 12-15. The free flower show-cum-cocktail bar will feature custom beverages, exclusive ballet performances and more.

Refinery29’s wildly popular 29Rooms will return to New York from Dec. 2-12, taking place in Manhattan for the first time with a “Make Contact” theme. The space, built in collaboration with various artists, creators and brands, will feature 29 activations centered around the themes of dating, dancing, socializing and celebrating. It will be held at The Market Line on the Lower East Side, and proof of vaccination will be mandatory for guests. Tickets are on sale now. 

PHOENIX/SCOTTSDALE: Sports betting and digital gaming entertainment company BetMGM has announced new partnerships with Gila River Hotels & Casinos and the Arizona Cardinals for retail and online sports betting, establishing its first relationships in the state of Arizona. The company also plans to open retail sportsbooks at the three Arizona Gila River properties and at State Farm Stadium in time for the 2022 NFL season.
