TOP OF THE AGENDA | Trump and Musk row erupts in public view |
| | Musk and Trump pictured during happier times in their relationship | After hours of sparring on their respective social media platforms, it's clear that the relationship between Trump and the world's richest man has soured. The day began with Trump saying he was "disappointed" with Musk's criticisms of his spending bill, with Musk later accusing Trump of "ingratitude", adding: "Without me, Trump would have lost the election". The two exchanged threats and insults throughout the day on subjects including Space X, Jeffrey Epstein, Doge and EV subsidies. It remains to be seen whether the pair can reconcile when they have a scheduled phone call with each other on Friday, according to reports. |

| BEYOND THE HEADLINES | The country where the left make hardline immigration laws |
| | | Denmark's PM Mette Frederiksen has made a public break with her party's past reputation of openness to migration | When you think of Denmark Scandinavian clichés spring to mind: images of a sleek, impossibly chic Copenhagen and a liberal, open society, writes Katya Adler. But our Europe editor adds that when it comes to asylum seekers and people looking to work in Denmark, the country has taken a dramatically different turn - where the left, not the far right, is taking the migration bull by the horns. |
