Startups and City Hall

Today, we've got a report on a meeting between local tech CEOs and City Council President Nick Mosby. It's still pretty rare to see the city's high-level elected officials and tech community leaders happening, at least in a publicly-shared way, so it caught my attention. Still, the wave of change at the top of city government over the last year indicidates that these kinds of meetings could be happening more.

Yet it brings up an age-old question: What's the best way for technologists to work with city government? On what issue can this community move the needle? Reply to stephen@technical.ly with ideas.
