You would be forgiven for thinking you were witnessing a bizarre half-sheep, half-zebra hybrid when passing a farm in Brindabella Valley on this day back in 1988. A very strange sight indeed grazed the fields of Canberra resident David Menzel's property. Menzel was the proud owner of the very special striped sheep that had been bred on his farm. Menzel raised the sheep primarily for wool and used a black ram and white ewes.
