Union petitions, unfair labor claims on the up

Petitions for union representation rose 2% during the first half of 2023's fiscal year and charges of unfair labor climbed by 16%, according to the National Labor Relations Board. The NLRB managed 20,498 cases of unfair labor charges and union representation petitions last year, a 23% jump and the biggest single rise in 46 years.
