Have you ever theorized what you would do in the case of a zombie apocalypse? For me, I have a pretty good idea of who would be on my “team.” I am a pretty good seamstress, and I can sew by hand in case there is a power shortage. I know a couple of people who are really good at gardening. My brother has taken up carpentry. My brother-in-law is an excellent outdoorsman. And my sister might be one of the most resourceful people I know.

I’d say our chances of surviving the zombie onslaught are pretty good. And according to this blog, as a Salt Lake City resident, I have some tactical advantages.

Could this proposal reduce the housing shortage in the West?

Sen. Mike Lee proposed a potential solution to the housing crisis out west which he says could alleviate 14% of the country’s housing shortage: Sell parcels of federal land at a reduced price to home developers with proceeds going to manage national parks, fire prevention and water management.
