Happy Father's Day! I'm so fortunate to have such a great father, who showed me the importance of showering your kids with love and support. If every parent did this, the world would be a much better place.
I'm in Toronto and we were going to go see my beloved Yankees take on the Blue Jays here but it's a sold out game and I don't want to deal with the crowds -- especially during COVID.
Speaking of crowds, on Friday, TSA officers screened 2,438,784 people at airport security checkpoints nationwide. It was the highest checkpoint volume since November 28, 2021, which was the Sunday after Thanksgiving – notoriously the busiest travel day of the year.
Today's number will probably be even higher, which would be great news except for the fact that airlines, airports and hotels are severely understaffed around the world so this will just add to the chaos. And it’s not even summer yet. Summer begins at 5:14am ET on Tuesday, which is also the longest day of 2022 in the Northern Hemisphere.
