Straight-From-The-Farmer Sustainability Perspectives
 

Happy August! With farmers across the country busy with their herds, crops and fields, I’m extra grateful for producers such as Debbie Borg. Debbie took time to share her perspective with us on how diversifying her operation has increased its sustainability, in all forms of the word. Debbie serves as a farmer ambassador and Conservation Steward for America’s Conservation Ag Movement (ACAM).

Our ACAM team just had its first in-person event in Flora, Ind., hosted by Jason and Jodi Oyler at their multi-generation family farm, together with our local Conservation Steward farmers Keith Mears and Brian Scott. It was an amazing day of conversation, camaraderie and cooperation -- all in service to local farmers, supporting them in their conservation agriculture journeys. It was fabulous to hear what is on producers’ minds right now. (Here’s a big hint: I was asked “what’s up with this regenerative agriculture thing?” at least a dozen times).

Translating Pressure Into Progress For A Better Beef System
