November saw the latest round of UN climate negotiations take place in Bonn, Germany. While policymakers discussed the ‘rulebook’ for the Paris Agreement, outside the negotiating hall companies, cities, states and regions showed that action in the real economy is happening at pace. This month, we’ve been assessing just how fast companies are moving on climate change, water security and deforestation. We’re nearing a tipping point for environmental action, but to build a truly sustainable economy we need to move faster and keep raising the ambition. |
