But, somehow, I’ve never changed. So, I bought my Persian kitten, Shireen, completely on impulse. I hadn’t planned to acquire another cat, as my Snoopy seemed entirely happy on her own. But Shireen was a gorgeous, longhaired kitten, just three months old, with the cutest little flat face. She was the last of the litter, and the breeder had reduced the price substantially. I’m a sucker for a bargain, and I decided to take her home. After all, I reasoned, I had often had a multi-cat family in the past. Surely, Snoopy would like Shireen as much as I did. I was delighted to find that Shireen and Snoopy got on well almost immediately. The breeder had said that Shireen had always lived with other cats and really liked being with them.
