At 43, former boxer and college football player Christian Smith was forgetting more than where he left his keys. He found that he was forgetting about family funerals and even where he lived — he was about ready to give up. One day, he received a text message from a friend of his parents saying he may have found a study that could help relieve the symptoms of severe brain damage experienced by collision athletes.

Noah Feldman’s march against the current

Harvard professor Noah Feldman has been characterized as a “walking encyclopedia” and “the single-greatest legal mind” in America. He also has an interesting background. He was raised in orthodox Judaism, learned to speak various languages including Arabic as his interest in brokering peace in the Middle East developed, and he has a deep fascination with Utah and Latter-day Saints. Most importantly, he has a deep and abiding passion for the U.S. Constitution and recently came to BYU to inspire and charge the audience with saving our country’s founding document.
