Who’ll pay the $2.2 billion cost of another Utah Olympics?
If Utah were selected to host the 2030 Winter Olympics, it would cost $2.2 billion. The 2034 Olympics would cost even more.
So who’s going to pick up the check if Utah's bid succeeds?
Don't worry, it won't be Utah taxpayers. Just like the 2002 Winter Games, the money would be raised largely through sponsorships, tickets and broadcast rights, Fraser Bullock, president and CEO of the Salt Lake City-Utah Committee for the Games, said.
In fact, another Utah Olympics would be “a net contributor to tax revenues in Utah.”

More recently, when asked whether he supports overturning Roe v. Wade, McMullin, who is looking to unseat two-term GOP Sen. Mike Lee, said “I do not think that that is the way for the country to move forward on this issue."
In response Lee wrote, "What changed? To quote the Broadway musical ‘Hamilton,’ ‘If you won’t stand for anything, what will you fall for?’”
