Also, how do superconductors works?
A New Hampshire in-home energy storage program saved money and helped the grid

After the first 21 months of a program that allowed one electric utility in New Hampshire to install hundreds of batteries in residential homes and switch the customers to time-of-use rates, the program has been deemed a success as it exceeded targets. On average, participants saved 33% on their monthly electricity bills and the system was 79% accurate in discharging during peak demand. Distributed energy resources can play an enormous role in keeping the grid stable, clean, and reliable. Learn more about the Liberty Utilities program in our lead story today.

For decades, scientists have been developing materials called superconductors that transmit electricity with nearly 100% efficiency.
