How Sweet (16) it is

Greetings from Albany, New York.

It's game day for the LSU women's basketball team, the biggest game day of the season so far.

LSU versus UCLA in the Sweet 16, the Albany 2 Regional, for the right to advance to the Elite Eight against either Iowa or Colorado.

Tipoff if set for noon CDT. Both of the aforementioned games will be televised on ABC.

• Baseball loses another heartbreaker, this time in extra innings against Arkansas.
• Meanwhile, baseball has picked up a commitment from a former Arizona player.
• What's with that picture of Jayden Daniels' elbow? He says it's nothing.
• Men's basketball has picked up its first transfer from the portal.
• Softball clinched its series with Texas A&M with a 5-1 victory. We've got a photo gallery for you as well.
• Finally, track and field has its winning moments in LSU's own Battle on the Bayou meet.
