Telstra CEO Andy Penn just said the National Broadband Network ‘could become worthless’.

That would be a massive write-off if so. It’s Australia’s largest infrastructure project, with a cost in the range of $50 billion.

Why the white elephant?

5G has the potential to make the NBN redundant before it’s even finished.
