Plus, the Strength Deployment Inventory is now available from Crucial Learning.
| | Hi John, Ever wonder how a personality assessment can impact workplace behavior? In the words of Abraham Maslow, “What is necessary to change a person is to change his awareness of himself.” Crucial Learning is the new home of the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI), a workplace personality assessment that provides deep insights into your motives, behaviors, and relationship dynamics. These insights contribute to increased self-awareness and mutual understanding, improving trust, psychological safety, inclusion, communication, and more. You can learn all about the SDI with videos, a comparison guide, plus a chance to experience the assessment when you attend a virtual preview, all available on our website.

| How the SDI Assessment Compares to DISC | by Tim Scudder |
|
| | Fundamentally, DISC is a way of categorizing human behavior based on two variables: whether an environment is perceived as stressful or non-stressful, and whether a person responds to that perception in an assertive or non-assertive manner. The central idea behind DISC is that you can understand and predict changes in behavior based on changes in the environment. For example, a super-villain and a super-hero would see committing crimes and fighting crimes as a stressful environment to which they respond assertively.
