I'm personally captivated by narratives that explore the fusion of art and technology, and today's feature on Technical.ly delves into just that. I recently spoke with a theater owner and a playwright, and I'm eager for you to check out their insights.
Shifting gears to a more ominous topic, let's talk about security: It's Data Privacy Week, and even I am contemplating ways to enhance my online safety. You'll see a piece in today's coverage featuring a cybersecurity expert offering valuable tips for safely navigating the digital realm.

Tech and theatre are inseparable
Chris Ashworth is the owner of Figure 53, a software development company specializing in live performance technology. He discusses the integration of art and technology at his arts venue, The Voxel. Opened in 2020, The Voxel operates on the belief that "technology is not artistically interesting in and of itself," according to Ashworth.
The article otherwise explores the inseparable connection between tech and theatre in the venue's production processes, particularly in the context of the upcoming production "I Will Eat You Alive." That play is written and directed by Katie Hileman, who also talked about her artist residency at The Voxel ahead of tomorrow's opening of the show.

It's Data Privacy Week. How are you celebrating?
In tandem with The National Cybersecurity Alliance's Data Privacy Week, which ends on Saturday, this article explores personal data protection and policy in 2024. The National Cybersecurity Alliance, established in 2001, aims to create a more secure online environment.
In this article, a podcast host and cybersecurity expert from Johns Hopkins University recommended using multi-factor authentication as a way to enhance security in this article. The piece also highlights the importance of informed decision-making about sharing personal data, as well as the role of privacy laws in this context.
