Home Depot aims to hire 80,000 people for a mix of permanent and seasonal jobs this spring, and the tight labor market has the retailer turning to tech tools to compete for talent. The company aims to streamline the hiring process using a Candidate Self Service tool, which lets candidates schedule their own interviews, and a new tracking tool that keeps prospective employees apprised of where they are in the hiring process.
