Goodbye, Las Vegas! After an exciting week at the NAB Show 2022, we are back in Munich and are already looking forward to next year. This year, our main topics included the upcoming release of Archiware P5, which features the P5 Data Mover - a new extension of the P5 Archive module.

Quick Guide to Configuring an LTO-Based Backup/Archive System

Configuring a suitable backup or archive system requires consideration of several points. Security aspects, such as the physical air gap between tape and network, provide arguments in favour of a tape-based Backup and Archive.

Media and Entertainment Storage Survey

The Media and Entertainment Storage Survey by Coughlin Associates is designed to determine the industry's digital storage needs and expectations. The survey includes statistics for the capture and creation of raw content, editing and post production, distribution of content, digital archiving as well as digital conversion and preservation.

Coughlin Associates is currently looking for participants to provide valuable data for the 2022 report. A summary of the survey results will be made available to survey participants.
