Resume formats tend to be standard, while CV formats vary depending on the sector or job.

Ottter.ai is a speech-to-text app that uses AI to transcribe notes, interviews or speeches quickly. Formerly incarcerated women make up 50% of the FutureStitch workforce that manufacturers shoe parts for Toms, Crocs and Everlane in California, a state where 20% of the population has had an encounter with the justice system, FutureStitch founder Taylor Shupe says. Shupe says people "coming out of the system are very entrepreneurial and have a lot of street-built skill sets that you would want for your workforce."

Report reveals which tech roles have the highest salary

IT manager, software developer, computer network architect and data scientist are the tech roles with the highest current median salary, ranging from $100,000 to over $150,000. The US News Best Jobs Rankings, based on data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, also includes database administrator, computer programmer and web developer among the top earners.

Climate change causes more MLB home runs

Climate change has led to at least 500 more home runs in Major League Baseball from 2010 to 2019, according to a new study published in the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society. Researchers found that the lower air density from warm temperatures causes a ball to be carried farther, and climate-affected home runs are more common in open-air baseball stadiums such as Chicago's Wrigley Field and Detroit's Comerica Park.
