AI is entering our business lives in so many interesting and unexpected ways. Publicis was created as an advertising agency by a 20-year-old Parisian in 1926. Almost 100 years later, it is not only the oldest, but one of the largest agency-holding companies in the world.
And yet, in a sense, it wants to be a martech company. Being a tech company today no longer just means having a digital platform. It means having an AI platform. That’s why Publicis Groupe has announced a three-year plan for a major expansion of its AI capabilities.
Expect other holding companies and major consultancies to follow suit.
