Greetings!

Can you believe today is February 1?! Going to Hawaii for 12 days really made January fly by (BTW: my trip reports are listed below). 

It's been a real mess traveling the last couple of days, thanks to a winter storm in the Central and Southern U.S. Texas' airports have been hit particularly hard as have American Airlines (AA) and Southwest (SWA). In fact, AA has canceled over 820 flights and SWA 674.

In December, a video of severe turbulence on a flight to Hawaii went viral as dozens of passengers were injured. The incident understandably made many travelers nervous, including me, since I was flying to the islands a couple of weeks later. Breeze Airways, which was founded almost two years ago by David Neeleman (who also founded JetBlue), has some incredible deals that I don't think many people know about.
